Janice Van Dyke, CEO
Since taking the reins of the family business in 1993, Janice has helped to develop Darwill's successful team leadership management system. She leads the six-person Management Team, and serves on Darwill's finance board and employee committee board. Janice's key roles in the company include facilitating employee-management communications and overseeing the direction, character, and day-to-day operations of the business. Her goals have been company growth with high quality control.

With a degree in Social Work and Psychology from Calvin College, Grand Rapids, MI, Janice states her business training comes from years of assisting her late husband William Van Dyke, with company decision-making. Janice is a member of the Board of Trustees of Calvin College in Grand Rapids Michigan, the Advancement committee for Elim Christian School, on the Facility Management Team for Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church, and a member of the University of Illinois Chicago Family Business Council (FBC) forum of Owners/CEOs. Janice is also a member of the Women Business Development Center (WBDC), the Women Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), and the Committee of 200 - an invitation-only professional organization of women entrepreneurs and corporate leaders.


Howard Van Dyke, President
Howard has been with Darwill for 20 years, building his printing knowledge through hands-on experience. His training began with basic duties in the printing plant with quick promotions to Bindery and Finishing Department Supervisor and then Production Coordinator. After mastering all phases of print production, Howard moved to a Senior Sales Executive position. Here he grew his sales accounts more than ten-fold, earning him the current status of President during the company's 1993 transition. Howard graduated from Calvin College, Grand Rapids, MI with a Bachelor's degree in Business and a minor in Mathematics. He currently serves as an Elder for his church.


Troy Van Dyke, VP Sales & Marketing
Troy oversees Darwill's marketing, sales and business development efforts, including strategic planning and investments for new business initiatives. In this role, he is also responsible for developing and delivering solutions for customers that leverage the Internet to streamline print process and improve B2B and B2C communications, in order to reduce costs, improve customer retention, and accelerate customer acquisition. Troy is a key player on the Management Team and leads the company in its vision and direction for the future.

Before assuming his current position, Troy held roles at Darwill in Estimating, Customer Service and Sales. Troy has degrees in Business Administration and Studio Arts from Calvin College, Grand Rapids, MI.


Robert J. Venhousen, VP Finance & Human Resources
Bob has been with Darwill since March of 2000. Prior to coming to Darwill he worked at Cardpro for 10 years. Two of those years were in sales, and eight as Vice President of Finance and Human Resources. Before Cardpro, he was employed at Citizens Bank (formerly Commerce National Bank). Since his arrival, Bob has been able to accomplish great things for Darwill, including an extensive profitability analysis and the first employee benefit fair.

Bob obtained his MBA in Finance and Human Resources in 1987 from Keller Graduate School. Previously, Bob earned his BS degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago.


Brandon Van Dyke, VP Operations & Technology
Brandon joined Darwill in 1997, but grew up working in all aspects of the family business. He now heads the research and development of new company software and hardware. He is also a key player on the Management Team and Business Development Team in keeping Darwill on the technological edge.

Brandon attended Calvin College, Grand Rapids, MI and graduated with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Social Sciences. He serves as President of the Board of Directors, and as chairman of the Selection and Recertification Committee for "Free the Children", a non-profit organization that distributes college scholarships for Chicago-area children.
